Ponnaiya’s Code and Genome Pvt. Ltd. (CAG) was founded on December 5, 2023, and officially incorporated on April 3, 2024, with a clear and ambitious purpose—to advance life sciences through technology-driven innovation from Madurai to the global scientific community.
CAG was established to address critical gaps in the research ecosystem, including limited access to advanced computational infrastructure, high project costs, and the growing disconnect between biological data generation and actionable insights. Starting with a modest initial investment and a small, dedicated team, the organization was built on a commitment to deliver practical, high-impact solutions in bioinformatics and computational biology.
Since its inception, CAG has actively supported researchers, academicians, and institutions by transforming complex biological data into meaningful outcomes. The company has collaborated with multiple research groups, delivered technical sessions and guest lectures, and conducted specialized training programs in areas such as in silico drug discovery and next-generation sequencing.
In parallel, CAG has focused on building its internal capabilities—developing researcher-centric tools like CagEasyPlot, establishing secure in-house computational infrastructure, and creating proprietary pipelines, AI models, and gene panels.
